I think this was a brilliant way of grabbing the publics attention and a great form of guerilla advertising. The public were able to take pictures and watch the living statues, making them feel a lot more involved and bringing more excitement to the opening.

Living Statues at Kings Cross Square
The grand opening of the new kings cross square was accompanied by a collection of famous living statues. During the morning rush hour of september 26th people were greeted at the station by James Bond, Queen Elizabeth, Sherlock Holmes and a series of other famous figures.
I think this was a brilliant way of grabbing the publics attention and a great form of guerilla advertising. The public were able to take pictures and watch the living statues, making them feel a lot more involved and bringing more excitement to the opening.
